Not everyone can afford a private dentist, and this group lists the alternatives: federally qualified community health centers and county health departments that charge on a sliding scale and take Medicaid and CHIP, dental schools where supervised students treat patients at a fraction of private fees, free clinics run by charities and dental societies, mobile and in-home dentists who serve nursing homes and rural areas, and the insurance agencies and discount plans that pay for care. State and local dental associations run referral lines, Give Kids A Smile days and Mission of Mercy weekends where volunteers treat hundreds of patients for free.

Tallahassee is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Tallahassee is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Absolutely terrible. When I received a referral for my leg, high concern. I was told to call Dontavious Johnson to get an ultrasound scheduled. He didnβt answer for 3 days, finally answered and told me that he would send it in. A week goes by and nothing, after a couple days of trying to get him to answer he finally does and transfers me to someone else. They proclaim they sent it to the wrong place, then she says she sent it to the correct place. Three days later the hospital calls me and says they donβt take my insurance. Absolutely pathetic. Another week later, 25 calls later and 15 very angry messages and they finally did the simple task of sending my referral to a place that actual takes my insurance. Malpractice at the finest, delaying a high concern case almost 3 weeks to a month! To top it all off, my blood work report had someone elseβs report stapled to it!!! Breaking HIPPA like crazy!

On 07/05/2023, APRN Rose Origa diagnosed me with hypochondria and told me that what I should be worried about was my acne, after I showed her a long list of the symptoms I was dealing with. Well, I just got diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, after i finally worked up the courage to tell another doctor what i was going through. Another doctor who actually listens to their patients, and referred me to a rheumatologist. I also got diagnosed with 15 different resperatory allergies. Crazy what a doctor who actually cares can do. The clinics themselves arent actually bad, but that particular experience was awful enough to warrant the 1 star review. Never see that woman if you actually want to find out whats wrong, because trust - she doesnt care.

The staff, doctors and nurses were all very welcoming and warm. They put my mom in ease. My mom had the best experience there today. The doctor was very knowledagble.

Great place to get inexpensive (or in some cases, free) medical care. The staff are friendly and there is a great vibe among the medical team. Dr. Richardson actually examines you and doesnβt just try to throw medication at the problem. The facilities are minimal, but they still provide excellent service and make you feel better. Isnβt that what doctors and nurses are supposed to do?
